Here are links to the slide decks for the two presentations I gave at PubCon Las Vegas. I presented in two sessions, one entitled “Convergence of Social & Search” and the other entitled “Proactive Link Building Tactics.”
In this session I speak about how one can impact their overall search visibility utilizing social media. The two are becoming more inter-twinned each and every day. While search marketing used to consist of good on-page SEO (title tags, meta data, etc.), now there are inbound links but even more important, social signals needed for one to experience good organic search visibility.
In this session I speak about link building, essentially revealing what works and what doesn’t in a post-penguin world.
It is more important than ever to monitor inbound links and make sure they are not removed or switched to no follow. There are several well known tools out there but they are usually quite expensive. Cheaper and more specialized alternatives like Linkody can help you with that task.
This information force to have a piece of paper & pen to make new strategy. This is really an awesome information. Now search engine are ranking results one signal & for me that is not important that my visitors are coming to my site from no follow links or do follow but visitor should interested to my service or product, that will only help me out. Not only marketing strategy but also design & development is involving & now we have to careful while doing SEO.
What you think friends? looking your point of view.
Thanks,

Hi, Mr. Wallace,
Thank you for the presentation on Penguin and post-Penguin updates. It is really insightful. So I would like to ask if there is a video of the talk?
